FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What is coaching?
Coaching, whatever its focus, is based on the belief that each of us has the knowledge, resources and wisdom to find our own solutions. It’s a proven, highly effective way of supporting people to achieve their goals and ambitions, whatever they may be.
What is your coaching style?
My coaching style is empowering, supportive and challenging when need be. I focus on people’s power and assets, while opening them up to new ways of thinking and being, as they become more and more aligned with their true self.
This way, I can support my clients to find their true confidence, self-belief and success - however they define it.
In a neutral environment free from judgement and pressure, my clients feel safe and supported to delve deep into who they really are, what they really want and how they can get there.
As an ICF Associate Certified Coach, I adhere to the ICF Code of Ethics; as an EMCC Practitioner, I adhere to the Global Code of Ethics; and as an AoEC alumni and Community of Practice Co-Leader, I adhere to the AoEC Code of Practice.
What areas do you work on with clients?
Each client brings their own very personal situation, which is often within one of four areas:
Women returning to work after a period of leave (maternity or longer)
Women going through professional transition e.g. promotion, change of company
Women working out what they want from their professional lives e.g. changing or (re)starting career
Women in leadership roles looking for unbiased, non-judgemental support
